The plan is now this: move to San Francisco, stay with Grandpa at least until January, or possibly indefinitely, and be there to make sure he eats enough and take him to the doctor whenever he falls over.

Do I sound unenthusiastic? Eh, it’s not really the glamorous city living that I had in mind when I planned the move, but it’s not so bad. I think I might have to buy him a DVD player and get a Netflix account though. I can’t handle another week of “Wheel of Fortune”.

  • Knit another Jayne Cobb hat on the subway while surrounded by half naked men, who I assume were attending the Folsom Street Fair, the “grand daddy of all leather events”.
